More Local Love: The Lunchbox, Kingston
Upstater Staff | September 9, 2015Have you been to Ulster County’s smallest restaurant yet? Maybe you blinked and missed it. If so, Kingston Happenings took a moment to draw your attention to the Lunchbox, the aforementioned county’s smallest restaurant, located at the Kingston Opera House in uptown Kingston. Owned by Sean Miller (you know him from the hot dog cart parked on Main Street in front of the old Dutch Church), the Lunchbox is a walk-up window that offers two soups now but will have seven on the menu in the winter, plus things you can chew on like sandwiches and paninis. The prospect of grabbing a cup of homemade soup and wandering the Senate House area in uptown sounds pretty appealing, even if such activities are accompanied by a nip in the air. The Lunchbox is located at 275 Fair Street, Kingston. Open 10am-4pm, M-F.
