A Three-Bedroom Fixer-Upper in Kingston for $99.8K

  |  October 7, 2022

It’s Five-Figure Friday, folks, and here we have a sizable (1,800 square feet) home in a residential area of Kingston.

It’s got three bedrooms and one bath, according to the listing. And it’s got a loooong punchlist of work that needs to be done.

The foyer has open shelving into the living room (we’d remove the carpet…and the gun). It’s hard to tell if those floors are subfloor or hardwood that’s just in need of a good sanding. But the room is bright with those two windows.

The kitchen/dining room area gives us a better look at the floor—or what’s missing from it. Still, this is a big space.

The listing says there’s a living room, family room, dining room, and kitchen on the main floor, with all three bedrooms on the top floor. It’s hard to tell if this is a bedroom or the family room, but it’s easy to tell that a lot of elbow grease is necessary.

But the opportunity to own a home in Kingston for under $100,000 is almost too good to pass up. Plus, it’s on a tenth of an acre, with a bit of backyard, too, and it’s got a full, unfinished basement. Potential buyers need to know this, however: It’s a cash-only transaction.
