Booze Alert: Kingston Wine Co. on the Rondout

The Rondout neighborhood on Kingston’s waterfront just got a notch cooler thanks to the opening of the Kingston Wine Co. on Broadway. Michael and Theresa Drapkin (seen above) hail from Brooklyn but, like so many others, migrated north after spending some time up here. The Rondout has been in need of a wine store for a while now, and we’re glad to see it open for business. Their focus seems to be wine with food, and they host tastings and food+wine events in their store. Read more about it on the Chronogram website.
