It’s not enormous. In fact, it’s rather modestly sized at 1300 square feet. But for less than $100,000, it looks like kind of steal, and the size doesn’t bother us one little bit. The interior is tidy, and we like the brick path way and patio outside. The thing that gave us a moment’s pause is how close it is to State Highway 23, which is the main drag through town. And while Cairo can be quiet and low on traffic, sometimes, it does get busy, depending on the season. It is, however, right in town, walking distance to a couple of cafes, the library, and the town rec center. Could be a good starter home if you’re considering the big move upstate and don’t feel like going broke in the process.
