Call of the Wild Week
Kandy Harris | March 17, 2014Some need to live among other human beings and feel close and connected with those around them. They want to wave to their neighbors from the front porch before popping down to the corner store for a coffee and newspaper. Meanwhile, others crave the company of trees and wildlife, the sound of crickets or the wind rustling through trees lulling them to sleep at night. If you’re one of those who prefer to commune with nature over people, you’re in luck. There are plenty of places to escape in the Catskills and Hudson Valley, so this week, we’ll be focusing our mad real estate listing search skills to those out-of-the-way places that allow us to rest and rejuvenate. Good news is, even in the wilderness, you’re never far from something resembling civilization around these parts, even if you have to travel a bit to wave to your neighbor and grab that coffee and newspaper to start your day. See you in the woods!
