Get yourself ready for a whole lotta laughs and music next week. On Monday, May 12, British stand-up Eddie Izzard will be bringing his wit to the Palace Theater in Albany. Show starts at 8pm, and tickets are $42-$67. Although he doesn’t perform in heels and stunning frocks like he once did, he’s still as funny as ever. But don’t stay up too late, because the next day, Tuesday May 13, The Boss himself, Bruce Springsteen, will be playing with the E Street Band at the Times Union Center in Albany. Tickets are $38-$121 and show starts at 7:30, which is perfect for those of us who can no longer handle an 11pm start time. By the way, Bruce might be getting up there in years, but we once watched him treat a mic stand like a stripper pole and turn himself upside down on it. But wait! There’s more! Wrap it up on Thursday, May 15 with Bill Cosby at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center in Poughkeepsie. Tickets are $45-$65 and show starts at 8pm. This show is part of Cosby’s Far From Finished Tour, and we think Bill is great, gave us the chocolate cake.
