TAP NY at Hunter Mountain

All this weekend, Hunter Mountain will be playing host to the 8th annual TAP New York, a craft beer and food festival featuring over 70 brewers, cooking demonstrations, beer tastings, and a competition to choose the Best Beer and Best Brewery in the state. The sudsy fun starts Saturday, April 26 at 1pm ’til 5pm, and Sunday, April 27 from noon-5pm. Invited breweries include Ommegang in Cooperstown, Upstate Brewing Company in Elmira, Newburgh Brewing Company, Keegan Ales in Kingston, and over 200 more (check the full list here). Since one can’t drink on an empty stomach, visitors can nosh on regionally-made pizza, knishes, hot dogs, brisket, burgers, ribs, sandwiches, BBQ, and a whole lot more. TAP NY tickets are $105 for both days, early rate for just Saturday is $68, at the door $72, and designated driver $20. Early rate on Sunday is $58, $62 at the door, or $20 for designated drivers.
