Originally, we tried to find a way to make the Orange County hamlet a Town of the Week, but there’s not enough going on real-estate-wise to make it work. However, we found this nice little live/work set-up right in the middle of town, just in case Sugar Loaf tickled your fancy and you’ve got a retail business you’ve been dying to get going. Or, you can buy the whole shebang and rent the storefront (which is in a pretty sweet spot in Sugar Loaf) to help offset the mortgage.

According to “historic records” (thus sayeth the listing), this house was once part of the underground railroad. Cool.
