Far be it for us to tempt you, but…oh, who are we kidding? Of course we’re here to tempt you, which is why you should definitely take a look at CountryLiving.com’s recent spread on the Hasbrouck House in Stone Ridge. Make sure you scroll all the way down so you can see what the house used to look like in the 19th century, as well as mid-renovation, and its stunning completion. If you’re not tempted to book a room at the Hasbrouck House after that, then you have no soul.

Formerly the Inn at Stone Ridge, the Hasbrouck House is owned and operated by Akiva Reich and Eitan Baron, who put extensive work into the 18th century stone Colonial manse. They brought the house back to its original 1757 charm using the stone and woodwork that came standard with the house, as well as updating the 55-foot pool built in the 1950s.

Hasbrouck House’s accommodations are situated in three buildings on the property, which is located right in the middle of historic Stone Ridge, right at home among the little Ulster County town’s other stone houses. To see more and to book a room, visit www.hasbrouckhouseny.com.
