Destinations: Photography Now 2014, Woodstock
Kandy Harris | May 15, 2014The Photography Now 2014 exhibit at the Woodstock Center for Photography (GMAP) has been on display since early April, but you still have a chance to catch these works, meticulously curated by Julie Grahme of aCurator.com, until June 15th. Described as “twisted”, the exhibit features works from Thomas Jackson, Marcus, DeSieno, William Miller, Jung S. Kim, and Farideh Sakhaeifar, all of which “demonstrated a different perspective to that which I regularly see,” said Grahme. Want a taste of the photos in the exhibit? Check out Chronogram’s slide show. More on this and other exhibits at the Center for Photography’s website. Make a day of it and hit the Mower’s flea market on Saturday. By the way, the Center for Photography offers affordable workspaces for photographers and students of photography, complete with darkroom, library, and a “digital kitchen” with open lab hours, workshops, and more.
