Haven’t you ever wondered what secrets are growing in a fenced-in yard where nobody can see? Call us vegetation voyeurs, but we find the idea intriguing. So, naturally, the Putnam County Secret Garden Tour has our attention. It takes place this Saturday, June 6, 10-4pm and includes 9 private gardens situated around Garrison, Cold Spring, Kent, Carmel, Mahopac, and Brewster. The price of admission ($30/adv., $40/door) gets you a map of the driving tour and permission to tour the gardens expressly given by the property owners. The best part is that it’s all for a good cause. The Putnam County Secret Garden Tour is a benefit for Partners with PARC, a non-profit organization that provides assistance to children and adults with developmental disabilities. For more information on the Secret Garden Tour as well as other Partners with PARC fundraising events, visit the Partners with PARC website. Buy your tickets here.
