Fare Thee Well, Green Door
Kandy Harris | June 17, 2014We were saddened to hear that beloved Green Door Mag is ending its 3 year/13 issue run. Headquarted on Main Street in the Sullivan County village of Liberty, Green Door has been a champion for everything the Catskills and the Hudson Valley has to offer both visitors and residents, with its finger squarely on the pulse of where to eat, what to do, where to shop, and things to see in our beloved little corner of upstate New York. Thankfully, Green Door’s summer edition is on the shelves even as we type this, so go grab yourself a copy. Find out all about the term “hickster”. Look at pretty pictures of Fort Delaware in Narrowsburg. Learn how to accessorize with Utility Canvas. Catch a glimpse of a new book of New York farmhouses (the pictures…DROOL!). Revisit Newburgh. And that’s just scratching the surface. Look at it online here, or get yourself a paper copy, just like the good old days. You can also find back issues on the Green Door website, too, and read their open letter while you’re at it. Green Door, you will be very much missed around here.
