Field + Supply Maker Fair Returns to Hutton Brickyards Oct. 5-7
Kandy Harris | September 20, 2018For five years, the modern makers design fair has been bringing its artisan wares to the Hudson Valley…
And, for the second time, it’s all happening at Kingston’s Hutton Brickyards located on the banks of the Hudson River. In addition to an impressive roster of over 150 vendors, the fair will feature workshops on embroidery, weaving, painting, and leather-working, as well as live music, food, and a host of children’s activity stations. Consider it a family-friendly outdoor market with a heavy emphasis on design.
Wares will include a variety of high-end crafts and designs, everything from clothing to jewelry to house and kitchen supplies to beauty products and more. Debuting this year at Field + Supply is a tent dedicated to antiques dealers.
Fair festivities kick off on Friday, October 5, with the start of a silent auction of a Black Creek Mercantile & Trading Co. dining table at 2pm continuing through Sunday, October 7. A cocktail party, live music, and private dinners are also on tap for Friday. Stick around Saturday night for a toast to the fair’s participating makers. Hours for October 5 are 2pm to 6pm, October 6 11am to 6pm, and Sunday, October 7 11am to 5pm.
Early-bird tickets are $10 per day if you purchase before September 30. After that, tickets are $15 per day and $30 for a weekend pass. Purchase tickets here. Looking to camp on the gorgeous grounds of the Hutton Brickyards? Terra Glamping can hook you up. Find out more here.
