This Could be Fun: A Night of Music @ Newburgh’s Karpeles Manuscript Museum, Jan. 30
Kandy Harris | January 27, 2016
Did you know there’s a manuscript library and museum located in an historic 1920s bank building in Newburgh? We’ve mentioned the Karpeles Manuscript Library before and even featured it as an on-the-market property (it’s still on the market, by the way, and the price has not budged from the $1.59 million its been listed at for the past 3 years). If you’ve been meaning to take a peek at this incredibly cool slice of architecture – perhaps for the purposes of purchasing said cool slice of architecture – now you can do it and hear some live music, too, on Sunday, January 31st.
A Night of Music at Karpeles kicks off at 5pm and features musical acts Perfectly Sliced Bananas, Laura Beth & Matt Kocienda, Elephant Jake, Bridget Ruggiero, Faith Cordes, Big Crumb, and Confused and Alone. That’s almost enough bands to call it an indoor music festival. More info on the event here on the FB event page. Karpeles Manuscript Museum is located at 94 Broadway, Newburgh.
