What do you get when you whisk together a stunning Hudson Valley location, amazing food, and add liberal dollops of author/Queen of the Hostesses Martha Stewart? The Wine and Food Festival of New Paltz, of course, which takes place this weekend, May 29-31, at picturesque Mohonk Mountain House (GMAP). For the practically bargain-basement price of $1375, you can book a two-night stay at Mohonk and attend the Festival’s wine and cheese gala Friday night, Grand Tastings, and all chef demos over the weekend. Or, you could go for the Grand Tasting Package for $1316, which gets you the two-night stay, the Friday gala, and the Grand Tastings. Meals and Mohonk activities included in both packages. More details on the Mohonk packages here. Lastly, you can buy tickets directly from International Wine Masters from $295 for an entire weekend access pass down to $30 per seminar. Speaking seminars, Martha Stewart will be presenting hers on Saturday at 12pm. We’re kind of hoping she’ll bring Snoop Dogg along as a surprise guest, but we won’t hold our breath.
