Halloween Prep: Abandoned Catskills
Upstater Staff | October 20, 2014In preparation for Halloween, we’re busily pulling together a little listicle on haunted landmarks and spots around the Hudson Valley and Catskills. We can’t wait to find all the spookiest spots in the area. Meanwhile, we came across this photo gallery from Reuter’s photographer Carlo Allegri of haunting abandoned buildings and homes all 0ver the Catskill Mountains. Ruins enthusiasts and those who find beauty in decay will love these shots and long to go poke around the bones of these places to see what artifacts of a bygone era have been left to molder. If you like these, you’ll like these, and also these, and these, as well. Oh, and can’t forget these (good resource if you want to go looking for ruins in person). Got a haunted spot you’d like to see included on our upcoming list? Let us know in the comments or drop us a line by going here.
