As Seen on Netflix: A Renovated Carriage House Inn in Hudson, NY

  |  December 13, 2018

This Hudson carriage house inn was featured on the Netflix show “Stay Here”…

The rental property-focused series Stay Here follows designer Genevieve Gorder and real estate expert Peter Lorimer as they walk property owners through turning their rentals into stunning short-term accommodations. One drop-dead gorgeous example is this c.1882 Victorian carriage house located on 7th Street in the heart of Hudson city in Columbia County. And, if you can swing $325 per night, you can stay here and soak it all in.

Here’s a before/after of the carriage house…

The multi-level carriage house includes a studio on the ground floor with room for two, plus a small kitchen. On the second and third floors, there’s an open living room and large kitchen (depicted above), and the sleeping quarters are on the top floor and features a master bedroom, a second bedroom, and two full baths. Split this house four ways, and suddenly, $325/night doesn’t seem so expensive anymore. Bring your friends!

From the carriage house, you can walk to Hudson’s Warren Street shops, restaurants, yoga, bars, and galleries. Leave the car behind and take the Amtrak into Hudson, which is just one mile from the inn. Find out how you can book the carriage house through Airbnb here. And, you can see more of what the carriage house looked like pre-renovation here.
