It’s Official…

…well, it seems awfully official at this point: The Hudson Music and Arts Festival slated for July 11-13, 2014 at Saugerties’ Winston Farm property got a mention in the NYT Arts Beat blog yesterday. Plus, they’ve got the beginnings of a website up and running, although there’s nothing posted yet aside from what’s depicted above and place to plug in your email address in order to receive updates. Still, we’ve been following this story for a bit, and while the details still need to be worked out (permits, parking, security, camping, all that jazz), it seems the festival, which falls near the 45th anniversary of the original Woodstock Music and Arts Festival, is a go. Here’s what we do know: It’s being headed up by SFX Entertainment and original Woodstock festival promoter Michael Lang. The line-up will consist of 85+ acts, although we don’t know who they are, the line-up is expected to be announced next week. By the way, Winston Farm was the site of Woodstock ’94. The Hudson Project isn’t the only event slated for the farm this summer. A yoga festival is also in the works.
