It’s Selling Time in the Lower HV

Living in the lower Hudson and thinking about putting your house on the market? Might not be a bad time to stop thinking and start listing. According to a recent report on Lohud.com, the first quarter is showing “robust” sales, 10% more robust than last year’s first quarter sales numbers, in fact. Could this mean that HV market is clawing its way back from a long recession? Probably, which is good news if you’re selling. Speaking of which, the article goes on to explain that houses are getting scooped up quickly, especially turn-key properties (as usual). Diane Cummins of Douglas Elliman and Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR) was quoted, “We don’t have a lack of inventory, but we don’t have a surplus.” Appropriately-priced properties are going in 30 days or less, practically greased-lightning speed in the world of home sales.
