A house where we can walk right off the back deck and into the pool? Yes, please. Especially if said back deck is attached to one good-looking abode with an open floor plan, high ceilings, and windows galore. But, as much as we love the idea of floor to ceiling windows, we have to wonder how often we would clean them. And will we have to climb a ladder to do it? Can’t we just get hose with good water pressure and a squeegee on a very long stick? Regardless, we love how the house seems to meld right in with its environs, like it was meant to be there. Located just outside of the Columbia County village of Kinderhook, about 20 minutes northeast of Hudson.
