NY’s Napa Valley
Kandy Harris | April 14, 2014According to Zagat, there are at least ten reasons to drive to the Hudson Valley. While we certainly can’t disagree with their strong choices, which include the CIA and the Rhinebeck Farmer’s Market, they spent three entries on places in Westchester County. Which is fine, because Westchester is certainly the HV, but we think they could’ve saved at least one entry for maybe Lucky Chocolates in Saugerties followed by a walk to the Saugerties Lighthouse (or better yet, an overnight there). Or, exploring the Kingston Rondout district and grabbing some rollatini at Savona’s. Or, a stop at Otto’s Market in Germantown because heading up to spend the afternoon at Olana. But we can’t fault them their picks, especially since one of them is Tuthilltown Spirits. Mmm…baby bourbon whiskey.
