Rental of the Week: Ghent Farmhouse, $5500/month
Kandy Harris | June 26, 2012
This circa-1860 farmhouse is located in the hamlet of Stuyvesant Falls (Columbia County), just a bit south of our Town of the Week, Kinderhook. It’s a beaut: Two fire places in the living room and parlour, and a porch with a view of Kinderhook Creek and bridge, plus it’s close to waterfalls and swimming holes. Located on approximately 6 acres about 2.5 hours from NYC. Super convenient to the Amtrak station.
Check out the photos and contact information for the Ghent farmhouse here. Listing has it renting for $65oo from August 1st to September 5th, but it states that a longer term engagement could be arranged.
