Saugerties Village B&B, $340,000
Kandy Harris | October 3, 2014I’m quite familiar with this pretty Victorian on Partition Street in Saugerties. In fact, it’s practically my next door neighbor, and for years, I’ve been dying to know what the inside looks like. Formerly the Emerick House B&B, 44 Partition Street has an interior that fun and funky in some spots, and classy and sophisticated in others. It consists of five rooms which are available to book through AirBnB, a formal dining room, chef’s kitchen, bar, and three full baths. While the lot size is small, the backyard is fenced in and contains a hot tub and a blue stone patio. It’s a beauty, and finally, I can lay to rest my curiosity about the interior. Another mystery solved. A word of caution: Saugerties village taxes are notoriously high. This property is not immune. One would be inclined to call the taxes a deal breaker, actually, and that’s a shame.
