You know that thing where you do nothing all summer and then, suddenly, it’s the end of August? Yeah, we’re feeling it, too. Fret not, summertime procrastinators. Here’s a bright, sunny loft available to rent just a few minutes walk from the hamlet of Phoenicia, one of our favorite small towns in the Catskills. This is perfect for a romantic getaway for two, but the outdoor hot tub is big enough for 6 people, so by all means, invite some friends over. Rates are $165/weekend night, $155/weekday night, two-night minimum stay. Take the Trailways bus, if you want. It’s not that far away from here. Can’t make it before Labor Day? Looks available through most of the fall (so far!), and if you haven’t experienced the changing of the leaves in the Catskill Mountains, you need to make that happen this year.
