Sweet Sue’s Announces it will Re-Open in 2016; Flapjack Lovers Flip Out
Kandy Harris | December 10, 2015Catskill Eats recently reported that Phoenicia hamlet favorite Sweet Sue’s, home of the absurdly large and delicious pancake, will re-opening their doors in 2016. According to the article, the proprietor, Sue Taylor, is “getting pretty excited. I just really started missing my customers, and missing Phoenicia, which has been my community for 30 years.” The article continues that Taylor plans to re-vamp the interior of the restaurant but stick with its beloved menu of breakfast items.
Well, we’ve been missing you, too, Sue, and we can’t wait to wait for a table on Sunday mornings because we know it’s going to be worth it. After all, if there’s one thing a fan of Sweet Sue’s can handle, it’s waiting around for something good.
No word yet on a more specific opening day for Sweet Sue’s, but we’ll keep you posted. And we promise not to get too syrupy about it.
