This Weekend: Beacon Open Studios
Kandy Harris | May 2, 2014There’s a lot going on this weekend. Maybe a little bit too much going on. We having difficulty making choices, but here’s one that is always a good bet: Beacon Open Studios. The annual event is celebrating 6 years in existence and kicks off with a party tonight (Friday) at 6pm at Hudson Beach Glass (GMAP), the epicenter of the weekend celebration of art. As usual, studios will throw open their doors to visitors, but this year, there will be a Children’s Art room at Amity Arts Center (GMAP) open all weekend long, noon to 6pm both Saturday and Sunday. The art room is free, but children must be accompanied by an adult. Full-color maps of all studios participating in this year’s event will be available at Beach Glass.
