Who doesn’t love miniature versions of things?

…and check out this article in Hudson Valley Mag about Ulster County resident Rowan Kunz and her 192 square foot house. She built it herself out of a 24 foot trailer, and it’s jam-packed with both looks and sustainable features like rainwater collecting gutters, grey water drainage, composting toilet (AKA, as Kunz described it in the piece, “a bucket”), and solar panels. She said the whole thing cost her approximately $25,000 to construct the house, which she keeps parked on her parents’ property. We know you’re dying to see pictures (and they will not disappoint), but you’ll have to see them here or on Kunz’s blog. If you’re hip to someone who is living in or building a tiny house in the Upstater area, or are living in or building one, please let us know about it.
