Turn-Key Three-Bedroom House in midtown Kingston, $89,900
Kandy Harris | October 9, 2015You can almost measure Kingston’s growing popularity by the amount of livable, five-figure, single-family homes that are not on the market. Not long ago, Kingston (particularly midtown and the neighborhoods adjacent to Broadway) was one of our go-to locations for properties less than $100,000. We’re seeing less and less of those these days as real estate prices begin to almost imperceptible creep upward, so finding this turn-key charmer with a new roof and fresh coat of paint is a treat. We like most of the interior, especially the wood floors and bay windows on the first and second floors, which help to make it seem more roomy than its 1200 sq. ft. size. The living room, however, has the ever-dreaded drop tile ceilings, which is fine for an office but not for a home. Includes a tiny backyard. The property is close to the Thruway as well as uptown and downtown Kingston.
130 O’Neil Street, Kingston (Westwood Metes & Bounds)
