Want River Views? Try a Trailer Park
Upstater | September 30, 2013A drive along 9W the other day had us zoom past a little place called Hudson View Terrace. We were late for the super-duper architectural tour of Newburgh, so we didn’t get to stop in, but it made us curious about mobile home parks in spectacular locations. Alas, our search only turned up only two.
Hudson View Terrace has a one two-bed, two-bath manufactured home for sale for a cool $139,000. Views, as seen above, not too shabby. And the inside looks pretty nice and low maintenance, too. Heck, it’s not all that different from a bungalow colony. One caveat: this is a 55+ community. Can’t bring the kids, but you can bring your dog!
On the jump, photos and info on another Hudson River-side mobile home for sale.
Bar Mar in Stony Point, not too far south of Hudson View terrace, is also along the water, and has a two-bed, one-bath for $55,000. You can take your kids on this one, but, alas, no dog. Can’t have everything.
