Welcoming Kingston Victorian, $154,900
Elizabeth Wilson | January 26, 2015Since its construction in 1904 (we know, technically not within the Victorian period), this lovely abode has maintained hints of its original detail work and ditched some of the more overwhelming features that characterize the architecture of the early 20th century (Victorian wallpaper, for example, is not easy to incorporate into a contemporary design). We’re huge proponents of historical preservation, but there’s nothing like a renovated kitchen with functioning appliances and polished cabinetry. The dining room features a touch of turn of the century drama – we especially love the rich color palette and the square bay windows. The recent updates to the home also include modern plumbing, which is a huge plus in our book!
