The Woodstock Writers Festival kicked off yesterday, and while just about every workshop scheduled for the weekend is already sold out, there’s still plenty of time to catch a discussion, interview, keynote speech, or party between tonight and Sunday. But with so many good things happening, how does one choose? Let us help you out by breaking it down:

The Round Table’s Joe Donahue will be interviewing novelist Jennifer Clement tonight (Friday) at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts, 36 Tinker Street, Woodstock (GMAP) at 8pm. Tickets are $30 and available at the Golden Notebook in Woodstock. Clement is the author of Widow Basquiat and Prayers for the Stolen.

Or, attend Fiction Panel: It’s All Make-Believe, Isn’t It? on Saturday, 4-5:30 at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts. Tickets are $15 at the Golden Notebook. Panelists include Jenny Offill, Owen King, Pamela Erens, and Kelly Braffet. Panel moderator is Elisa Albert.

Or, come to Journalism Panel: Writing What’s Right on Sunday, April 6 at 2pm. Moderator Brian Hollander from the Woodstock Times will be leading the discussion with panelists Rich Cohen, Lily Koppel, Marianne Schnall, and Alison Stewart. Also at the Kleinert. Multidisciplinarians:

Trilogy: Writing, Yoga, and Music will be held on Saturday, 9:30am and will feature Stephen Cope and Baird Hersey. Musical performance by PRANA, and moderation provided by Gail Straub. $15/ticket. Also at the Kleinert.

Rampant Proscrastinators:

Abby and Bar: Writing When a Nap is Preferable is on April 5, 11:30am with author Abigail Thomas and singer-songwriter/author Bar Scott. At the Kleinert. Tickets are $15.

Those Who Just Like to Schmooze and Party:

Get your drink and chat on at Little Bites and Big Libations Part 1, which is tonight (Friday) at 6pm at Mountain View Studio (GMAP), or Part 2 on Saturday night, same bat time, same bat channel.

Keynote speaker Stephen Tobolowsky, otherwise known as the most recognizable character actor working these days, will be giving his address on Saturday at 8pm, Kleinert Gallery, tickets are $30. Tobolowsky is also a prolific author, too. We’re surprised this hasn’t sold out yet, but it will soon, so don’t hesitate. Get all ticket information and details on events on the WWF website.
