Button-Cute Colonial Cottage near Kinderhook Creek, $119,000
Kandy Harris | May 19, 2015This cute cottage is located about a 20 minutes’ drive north of Hudson, but it feels a lot farther away. That’s because it’s in the hamlet of Stuyvesant Falls, a rural riverfront town that is sleepy, pretty, and situated around a waterfall on Kinderhook Creek. The eyebrow Colonial has lovely interior with an old-fashioned kitchen, stained glass, and a very Craftsman-like living room. Outside, the lot is small, but it comes with an in-ground pool. Go straight to the official listing page if you’re looking for its location. Trulia’s got it wrong, Realtor.com doesn’t even try, Google Maps is confused, and Zillow’s got it in the middle of Hudson. The listing hints at a potential third bedroom currently being used as an office. Otherwise, it’s a 1300 square foot 2 bed/1 bath on less than a quarter acre fenced-in parcel. Potential second home?
6 Hudson Avenue, Stuyvesant (Berkshire Hathaway)
