Roomy Wurtsboro 1920s Victorian, $75,000
Kandy Harris | August 6, 2015Need space for the whole fam-damily (pardon our Dad Joke there)? Here’s 2000 sq.ft. of it, plus 4 beds/1 bath. Although the ratio of bedrooms to bathrooms might be a bit off-balance for a family of more than 3, we could make it work given the rest of the house’s spotless interior, fine Craftsman wood detailing throughout, hardwood floors, formal dining room, crowning moldings, pocket doors, bay windows, and a full attic. Which leads to the inevitable question: What the heck is wrong with it that it’s listed at $75,000? Lot size is a respectable half-acre, although we’re unfamiliar the neighborhood in which it’s situated, which is about 5 mins. north of Wurtsboro village in Sullivan County. What we can tell you is that it’s pretty country there, and it’s close to a small airport. So what gives with the price?
57 Summitville Road, Wurtsboro (Keller Williams)
