Just how often do we come across an inn this size listed for less than $300K? Almost never, so we had to jump all over it!

As far as locations are concerned, this is where you’d want an inn, if you had an inn, since its convenient to Catskill Mountain winter sports, hiking, a golf course, good food, and multiple waterfalls along Platte Clove.

The historic Eggery Inn is situated in the Greene County village of Tannersville and dates back to 1898 when it was a farm. It became an inn in the 1930s and comes with 15 full rooms with private baths, a professional kitchen, large dining room/bar, large lounge with fireplace, large outdoor decks, a wrap around porch, and an innkeepers’ apartment.

Structurally, the inn, which sits on a 12-acre plot of land, is in good condition, although the 7,000-square-foot interior could use some cosmetic and design updates.

One aspect of this property that needs no improvement, however, is the surrounding mountain views. Hunter Mountain can be seen from multiple vantage points around the inn. Guests will appreciate decamping to the inn’s expansive decks and porches to take in the stunning Catskill Mountain scenery, no matter the season.
