A Modern Masterpiece in Woodstock: $2.9M

  |  March 8, 2024

Happy Fancy Friday! Upstater is visiting a modern masterpiece in Woodstock that has a one-bedroom guest suite in addition to its three bedrooms.

The house celebrates its 11th birthday this year. It’s got clean horizontal lines and a gray color scheme.

The front stoop has room to drop your shoes before opening the Midcentury Modern-esque front door.

The ceiling mirrors the floor in an uncanny way in the living room/kitchen. Yes, the carved hardwood floor seems to be reflected in the ceiling.

The speaker at the end of the kitchen island/breakfast bar is a bit random—but nevertheless, the kitchen is sleek and spotless, with a backlit backsplash and floor-to-ceiling windows that bring the outside in.

A beverage center makes its home next to the laundry area.

The house has four bedrooms and 3.5 baths. This bathroom is a moody gray.

This bedroom continues the gray theme but in a very spacious way, with a giant mirror and a mirrored closet door.

This room also has glass doors out to the deck.

The ensuite bath has glass tiles on the walls surrounding a built-in soaking tub.

We love the fluffy sheepskin next to the bed in this room.

Bubbles come to mind in this room, which has a floating vanity among the mosaic walls of glass circles. A shower in this bath continues the bubbly theme.

This bedroom is being used as an office, with a wall full of floating shelves.

Why live in a natural paradise, if you’re not going to introduce that beautiful view inside? We love this wall of glass.

Washed-marble walls mark this bath. The shower also has marble walls.

We’d have trouble getting outta bed if we had this leafy view greeting us each morning.

The basement is a workshop dream. The generator included with the home helps out in a power outage.

There’s plenty of outdoor space, including this covered porch that steps down to an inground infinity pool. Owned solar panels help with energy costs.

Three acres surround this home. It’s located in a prime spot—secluded, yet only a seven-minute drive to downtown Woodstock for great eats at Garden Cafe. And it’s under 15 minutes to the banks of the Ashokan Reservoir, one of our favorite places to stroll.
