Affordable Renovated Farmhouse in New Paltz, $299,999
Kandy Harris | September 7, 2015We don’t often tout New Paltz for its affordability, because it’s usual not affordable. This sweet and sassy-yellow renovated farmhouse, though, gets the nod from us not only for its price, but for its souped-up interior. Specifically, we’re casting our longing gaze toward the kitchen with green tile backsplash, exposed brick, farmhouse basin sink, concrete countertops, and Thermador appliances. As we’ve said many times before, it’s possible to fall in love with a house based on a single room. Thankfully, the rest of the house is more than okay. Includes nearly 3 acres of sub-dividable land just south of the center of New Paltz village. And the taxes? Well, prepare for sticker-shock since they’re around $8500. This is New Paltz, after all.
