It’s Amazing A-Frames Week!
Kandy Harris | February 16, 2015It’s no surprise that the upstate New York real estate market features a ton of A-Frame style homes. The steeply-pitched roof helps keep snow from piling up, thereby preventing an unfortunate avalanche in one’s living room. And the construction itself is relatively simple; you can even order a kit or download blueprints if you’re more of a DIYer. Some would argue that the narrow roof makes an A-Frame a poor use of available space, and we get that, but that’s not going to stop us from admiring their simplicity and loads of interior design options. An A-Frame practically cries out of cool hanging light fixtures, sleek mid-century modern furnishings, and decks that add additional space to enjoy the outdoors. Each day this week, we will be featuring A-Frame style houses for sale from all over the Upstater area. Stay tuned…
