Colonial in Greenville, $185,000
Kandy Harris | July 11, 2012Bargain alert in the town of Greenville. Huge Colonial (3000 square feet) on 21 acres, approved for short sale (cash only). According to the listing, the price reflects that it needs some work, but the kitchen includes a big brick hearth, although we’re not nuts about the way the kitchen fixtures look incongruous next to it. The house definitely looks like it could use a fresh coat of paint on the walls and the wood floors polished up a bit, the bathrooms upgraded, and who knows what else. Situated fairly far off of route 26 in a rural area next door to a golf course and lots of little ponds and lakes. Seems like a decent price for tons of land and lots of house, in spite of the work needed.
