The location of this house is on a rural road out near Clermont with the nearest point of civilization the village of Red Hook, which is about 10 minutes away. While still technically in the town of Germantown, the hamlet of Germantown is 15 minutes from the property, and that’s good enough for us to include it amongst our other Germantown properties this week. Plus, we like the house itself. Nice interior, we love that second floor landing area, hard wood floors, and a decent size with 4 bedrooms makes it a-okay in our book. What we don’t like is how exposed it is. Although Commons Road is out in the country, there just isn’t enough between the house and its neighbors. Sits on a park-like acre.
