Five-Figure Fridays: A Millerton Three-Bedroom for $89.9K

  |  June 23, 2023

Today’s Five-Figure Friday pick needs a lot of work—but its Millerton location can’t be beat.

The three-bedroom house is technically a mobile home, so it’s up to the new owner to decide to either build upon it or start anew on the 0.79 acre parcel.

The front door opens into the dining room, which leads to the kitchen and laundry room before you reach the back door (which is in the foreground in this photo). Rustic wood paneling is the wall treatment of choice here, along with vinyl tile flooring.

The kitchen is definitely outdated but functional, with a lot of wood cabinets and appliances that are a mix of finishes.

The dining room is swathed in knotty pine; the chandelier over the dining table reflects the house’s 1971 build.

The living room has a new pellet stove. A worn wall-to-wall carpet covers the floor, and wood paneling covers the walls.

This bedroom is Pepto-Bismol pink, with nice-looking flooring and a ceiling fan.

The primary bedroom has a (barricaded) door to the outside and the same wall-to-wall carpeting.

It has an ensuite half-bath…

…that has robin’s-egg-blue walls and a wide but dated single-sink vanity.

There’s a walk-in closet, too.

The third bedroom has the same color scheme as the primary bedroom.

The main bath has blue walls, a single-sink vanity, and a pier cabinet with three doors.

These two sheds offer storage for lawn equipment and other gas-powered “toys.”

The property is a four-minute drive to Harney & Sons tea house and to the Harlem Valley Rail Trail, and three minutes to Irving Farm Coffee Roastery. If this home has you hankering for a fixer-upper, find out more about 36 Scenic View Road, Millerton, from Hayley Butterfield with EXP Realty.
