It may not be as fancy as some of the other houses we looked in Highland Falls this week, but it’s in good shape, reasonably-priced, solidly-built, and the taxes are less hair-raising than many other properties in the village. Includes a front porch, back balcony, tiny but serviceable yard, wood floors, and lots of recent upgrades, like a new bath, hot tub, appliances, and the electric system. Location is right next door to West Point and walking distance to the rest of the village and the river. Quite frankly, we were just relieved to see a property with taxes that didn’t hit the five figure mark.
