This house near the Strand might not look all that fabulous on the outside, but the inside is nice, very cozy and appealing, and the price is doable, too. The listing proclaims Rondout views from the master bedroom, and there’s even a little enclosed yard and garden space in the back. The big issue here may be parking. There doesn’t seem to be any off-street, and that means parking on Spring Street which seems very narrow. Still, this could make a great first-time buyer option for someone looking to live walking distance from good stuff in Kingston. We’re feeling a bit tempted ourselves, since the mortgage is considerably cheaper than our rent!
