Kingston’s Tudor House Goes to Auction
Upstater Staff | September 15, 2014A former group home for the mentally-disabled is going up on the auction block at 1pm on October 22. The Kingston Daily Freeman reported that the bidding still start at $70,000 for the Tudor-style historic property that’s worth $390,000. The state Office of Mental Help currently owns the property. Both the house and the area in which is sits is on the state and national historic registry, and that means tax credits of some kind. Care to poke around inside? There are three open houses scheduled for Friday 9/19, Wednesday 10/1, and Wednesday 10/15. All showings 11am-1pm. You’ll need $7,000 to hold your bid. Read more about 9-11 E.
