Newburgh Restaurant Space + Apartment, $99,000
Kandy Harris | June 2, 2015Anyone out there looking for cheap restaurant space with the possibility of living on site? We’re running this Newburgh restaurant/bar/multi-family property up the flagpole to see what you think of it. Some good, some bad, and definitely some ugly, but we’ll leave it up for you to decide if this is a viable possibility for live/work. Here’s the good: We were delighted by how nice the under-renovation 2nd floor apartment looks. The price is affordable, too. Here’s the bad: The location seems iffy. Feels industrial/commercial, which should come as no surprise to anyone, since this building is zoned commercial. It’s quite visible, though, so there’s that. However, if you’re looking for picturesque surroundings, you’ll have to wait for this afternoon’s post. And finally, the ugly: The restaurant/bar have great potential, but right now, they seem cave-like. So, what’s the verdict, dear readers? Yay or nay?
