Newburgh Victorian Townhouse, $189,000
Kandy Harris | November 29, 2013This is the end residence in a group of four connected brick townhouses on Henry Avenue in Newburgh, just a stone’s throw from the waterfront. And while you can’t exactly see the river from the house, a quick jaunt down to the end of the street will give you a nice unobstructed viewing spot. The price is good for a 2,000+ square foot space, two stories with a basement, some beautiful details like a fire place and built-ins, wood floors, original moldings, etc. The townhouse includes a small back yard (looks like it might be shared with at least one other neighbor) and a little deck. We’re a bit bummed that this was a short posting week at Upstater, due to Thanksgiving, because there are a lot more properties in Newburgh we could’ve explored. Hopefully, however, our small taste of New York’s “other city” will prompt you to do some exploring of your own.
