Pleasant Valley Farmhouse, $169,000
Kandy Harris | July 19, 2012
While technically not in the town of Lagrange, according to the GMAP, it’s so close, so cute, and so well-priced that we felt we should mention this 2-story farmhouse in Pleasant Valley, anyway. We like the unique kitchen, hard wood floors, and the fact that it’s on over two acres with a stream. It’s super-close to the Taconic Parkway, too. But we think the upstairs needs some work, since we’re not nuts about the blue carpeting combined with the brown walls (can we say it’s icky? Or is that too mean?). Nice skylights, though! Given how convenient it is to the Parkway, the size of the lot, the price, and how nicely tucked away it is, we think this might be a good candidate for a weekend house.
