Renovated Colonial + an Acre of Land in Millerton Village, $165,000
Kandy Harris | January 26, 2016If you’re not sure of the transformation that this Millerton village Colonial has undergone over the past couple of years, we managed to scrounge up a “Before” picture of the exterior:
What we wish we could see is a “Before” picture of the interior, but alas. We must take the listing at its word. Here’s the new stuff that came with the recent renovation: electrical, plumbing, roof, insulation, windows, propane furnace, coal, and living room wood stove. That pretty much covers it, we think, not to mention that the ceiling beams and oak floors are in tact. The kitchen needs work, however, says the listing.
Comes with an acre+ right in Millerton village, a sweet place on the rise in Dutchess County just west of the NY/MA border, plus a listing price that breaks down to around $80/square foot (the house is 2048 sq. ft. total). No need to sacrifice village living for a big yard with this property, and that’s a bonus in our book.
489 Mill Street, Millerton (Elyse Harney Real Estate)
