We’re always on the lookout for the true unicorn of real estate: Inexpensive (under $200,000), turn-key (for the most part, although small improvements can bring large returns), cozy, functional but attractive, includes a bit of land upon which to plant and play, and has some character thrown in for good measure. This little cape in Roscoe seems to fit the bill quite nicely, particularly in the price category. It’s rather modestly-sized at 1,000 square feet, but we think it would work great for a couple looking for a place they can go to enjoy the outdoors, or maybe a first-time buyer. We would consider tweaking the kitchen a bit for more space. It’s located across Route 17 from the Willowemoc Creek and just down the road a piece from the hamlet of Roscoe. Simply adorable.
