The Wallkill Valley Rail Trail runs from Gardiner to south of Kingston in Ulster County, passing through the quaint hamlet of Rosendale along the way. We’ve talked up Rosendale a lot here on Upstater, but in case you missed those posts, Rosendale might be hamlet in designation, but it has all of the perks of a village. There are great places to eat, shop, and explore, and this 19th century farmhouse sits not too far from it all. And whoever set up the kitchen knew what they were doing when they put in a big basin sink, Wolf range, sub-zero fridge, and a pantry (since the listing mentions the fridge and range, we assume they stay with the house). Lot size is an acre and a half, and it’s close to the Rail Trail that runs right along side Williams Lake (by the way, Williams Lake has a summer swimming program on the weekends to benefit the Rosendale pool project.
