Speaking of Artists’ Compounds in Stone Ridge…
Kandy Harris | June 9, 2015Call it a “Theme Within a Theme.” We didn’t realize that we’d find a couple of cool artist/creator compounds while exploring Stone Ridge and High Falls this week, but by gum, that’s what we did. Like the property we posted earlier today, this compound is in Stone Ridge, but the similarities pretty much end right there (perhaps the spoon and fork sculpture gave it away already). First off, the price ($995,000) is much higher due to the fact it’s much bigger and sits on nearly twice as much land. Secondly…well, look at it. It’s a 1930s home updated into a funky Contemporary, not an enchanting Arts & Crafts cottage (although this house is older). It’s also got a painting studio, a sculpture studio with high ceilings, and a two-story 4-car garage. The big question that remains for us is, do the sculptures come with it? Including the fork and spoon?
